Synopsis:
This drama relates to the lives of women in today's modern society. It focuses on three women - Ko Chi Ling, Hilda and Hoi Suen.
Ling is a woman who believes that a woman's life goal is to get married to a good husband and raise the family well. Her dreams broken when she found out her husband is cheating on her. Unable to take his lies anymore, Ling finally gathers the courage to divorce him despite not receiving support from her conventional family. Since then, it makes her a phobia in love. The agressive pursuit by Chai Foon, a guy younger than her, frightens her. Nevertheless, in the end, she manages to open her heart and mind to accept Chai Foon.
Hilda is an independent, strong-willed woman whose mind is set to climb the corporate ladder. She resists marriage and dependency on men to the point that she's willing to go against traditional values by being a single mother. However, throughout her journey with the father of her child, she begins to change slowly though she still does not believe in marriage.
Hoi Suen is the modern woman who strongly believes in women's rights and status. Her ambition is to become a sushi master but the owner of the sushi restaurant, Ko Chi Lik, is an ol-fashioned man that thinks a woman's place belongs at home. Hoi Suen's persistence and determination finally awakens him that women can indeed achieve greater accomplishments. Somehow, they still constantly argue over this issue in their relationship.
