Synopsis:Being an orphan, Kim In Ha spent his childhood helping his uncle cheat in gambling. While in his high school, he often hung out with his friends at the basement of a cinema theater. There he met Min Su Yeon, the daughter of the projectionist who were being killed due to owing the wrong people money. He also befriended the son of the rich theather owner, Choi Jung Won.
As he was attracted to Su Yeon and pitied her, In Ha and gang decided to avenge her father's death by setting fire to the bad guys' hideout place. Unfortunately, the gang leader was accidentally killed and In Ha was sentenced to 7 years in prison.
Meanwhile, Jung Won was acquitted using his father's connections and went to US. Su Yeon was sent to become a nun.
Years later, In Ha was released from the prison. He ended up working in the same casino as Su Yeon and they fell in love. However, something bad separated them and In Ha had to flea to US.
