Synopsis:

Love and hatred that spread across two generations. It all started before the Japanese invasion. Seng Nam's family ran the jade business. Due to a scam by a friend, their business almost fell into bankruptcy. In order to find a good jade to restore their business, Seng Nam went to Myammar. There, she met Chui Yun who helped her a lot in her search. They soon fell in love. However, Chui Yun already had a fiancee. While trying to save him during an incident, she crippled her legs. Out of guilt and sympathy, Chui Yun decided to be with his fiancee though he loved Seng Nam. Seng Nam went to marry General Lai Kuan. Unfortunately, Chui Yun and his fiancee were killed in a train bombing by Lai Kuan's enemies.

Many years later, Seng Nam has become a successful businesswoman. Her granddaughter Mo Ha has grown up into a beautiful woman. While in Venice, Mo Ha encounters a guy named Chui Siong and deeply attracted to him. She meets him again after came back to Shanghai. Chui Siong then plans his pursuit of Mo Ha and they gets married in the end. Little does she know, Chui Siong is actually secretly scheming to destroy her family and business.

Well, I thought it'd be a good drama with the interesting casts but I was totally disappointed. The storyline is extremely old-fashioned. Not recommended.
